A diet rich in fresh fruits and vegetables, unprocessed cereals, sprouted grains, nuts, and seeds can improve your appearance and well-being.

Daily exercise improves blood circulation to the surface of the skin, giving it a healthy glow. Furthermore, it assists in oxygenating tissues, as every tissue in the body needs oxygen. Ayurvedic Skin Care Tips

There are many ingredients recommended by Ayurveda on the shelves of your kitchen. The following tips will help you achieve glowing skin:

  1. Apply chilled rose water to the skin daily using cotton wool pads. Use them to wipe and stroke the skin. Pat the area briskly with the cotton wool pads soaked in rosewater.
  2. An exfoliation once or twice a week removes dead skin cells and brightens the skin. You will need sesame seeds (til), dried mint (pudina) leaves, and honey. Finely grind the sesame seeds and powder the dried mint leaves. Mix them with honey and apply them to the skin. Let it sit for five minutes. Wash off with water after rubbing gently. Sun-damaged skin actually benefits from sesame seeds because of their sun-protection properties.
  3. In order to add a glow to the skin, orange and lemon peels can be dried and powdered. Make a paste out of them by mixing them with fuller’s earth (multani mitti) and rose water. When dry, apply it to the face and wash it off. In addition to clarifying the skin, this is also beneficial for oily skin.
  4. Milk, honey, and a little almond oil are mixed with one tablespoon of wheat bran, or choker, and one tablespoon of ground almonds for normal to dry skin. Then apply it to your face and let it sit for a few minutes. After that, rub gently with circular motions and rinse off with water.
